Steven Carr entered into the Internet arena in 1997, just in time to participate in the Domain Name registration frenzy, when most “.com’s” were available for initial registration.

As a partner in one of Houston’s first Internet Service Providers, and with his early professional life in Real Estate, he quickly realized the value of this “digital” real estate and joined the ranks of “Domainers”, acquiring many excellent Top Level Domains.  This was confirmed a couple of years later when another Houstonian, Marc Ostrofsky sold Business.com for over 7 million dollars.

The Internet has become the “great equalizer”, allowing companies of all sizes a level playing ground to provide goods and services on a local, national and international scale,” said Carr.   “One thing we have learned over the years is Key Performance Indicators are necessary to managing a site and measuring success.  If you can’t measure it, it does not exist!”  Proper web design includes tools to measure traffic and the flow of traffic through the site to conversions.

As the Internet changed into a major marketing media resource, Carr developed several Job Boards, including HoustonJOBS.com, AustinJOBS.com, PhoenixJOBS.com, SeattleJOBS.com and PittsburghJOBS.com.  His web design services helped launch over 180 brick and mortar businesses onto the Internet.

More recently, HoustonRestaurants.com has come on the scene and is building daily in popularity.  Carr works closely with many local restaurantsas well as small to mid-sized businesses with web design and marketing strategies.

In addition to web design, Steven is now FAA 107 licensed as a Remote Pilot and provides Drone Video Services. More information and pricing for these services can be found at http://www.TexasRemotePilot.com.
